Visiting Naritasan Fukusenji Buddhist Temple in the New Year | Okinawa

New Years is a big holiday in Japan. Families around Okinawa visit temples, pray, and leave their wishes for the new year in the first few days of the year. The paper wishes and all the trinkets are so beautiful. This is a wonderful tradition and something I am so happy my children were able to experience!

Parker's TBall Photos | January 2014

This year Parker played T-Ball for the first time. He was so excited to start playing a sport like his big brothers. After the first couple of practices he was not too impressed. He was bored. But once the games started he really began to enjoy playing. T-Ball is so funny to watch!

Cooper's Baseball- January 2014

Our Last Visit to our Favorite Little Island, Hamahiga

Our last visit to our favorite little island, Hamahiga. The kids found a dead fish and the boys thought that was pretty cool. It wasn't very warm but that didn't stop them from swimming in the ocean one last time. We will sure miss our beach days in Okinawa!

It has been a crazy past 5 months.

Moving from Okinawa, separating from the Air Force and moving to our new life.
