Sunflowers in Bloom | Okinawa

Near Camp Foster there is a little village that grows huge fields of sunflowers and they bloom near the end of January. The kids have always loved going here, especially to run along the paths winding through the tall sunflowers. We were happy we were able to visit one more time before we left Okinawa to move to Portland, Oregon.

Last Visit to Bise Village | Okinawa

Bise Village in northern Okinawa has always been one of most favorite areas to explore. I love all the tiny little paths through the Fukugi Tree road. The trees are so tall and create a wonderful canopy. Such a cool place!
