Seattle Seahawks, Shark and Skeleton | Halloween 2013

Halloween 2013- It rained most of the day. Luckily the rain stopped for about an hour. We were able to take some photos and do some trick-or-treating. They got so much candy!!!! We had a wonderful last Halloween in Okinawa.

Carson knew right away he wanted to be a Seattle Seahawks football player. Emma right away knew she wanted to be a Seahawks cheerleader. We are the biggest Seattle Seahawks fans in Okinawa. The two of them looked so cute together!! Cooper was so excited to be a shark. We had hopes of doing his pictures down at the beach but the rain was not allowing that option. He wanted to sleep in his costume he loved it so much! Parker is always the one that picks the scariest costume. He was determined to be a skeleton and knew that this summer. He loved his costume!

Rainy Day at Comprehensive Park | Okinawa

Last weekend we went down to Comprehensive Park to run around and get some energy out. It ended up raining off and on but that didn't stop us. Comprehensive Park is huge and you could spend hours walking around. It was a very gloomy day with lots of dark clouds. That made the trees even spookier.

Beautiful Seas after the Typhoon | Okinawa

Once the eye of the typhoon passed and the wind calmed down we headed out to the Cape Zanpa Lighthouse. Because of the typhoon it was blocked off so we couldn't walk out to the cliffs. We still were able to walk along Zanpa Beach. The ocean was amazing! So many different colors. Okinawa is a very special place to live. We only have a few more months here so we will be fitting in as much as possible. I sure will miss the Okinawan Sea!

Typhoons 2013 | Okinawa

This year we went all summer without a typhoon. We were starting to think we wouldn't have any our last year here. The second weekend of October that changed. We ended up getting 2 typhoons back to back. They were not very strong which we were all bummed about. In Okinawa everything is built for typhoons so there is never anything to be scared about. We spent a few days inside eating yummy treats and watching movies.
