Easter Bunny Came Early

After dying eggs and eating pizza the Easter bunny visited. The kids were feeding the chickens and the bunny dropped their baskets off on the deck and hid over 130 Easter eggs. The most exciting part of the whole evening was that Josh was able to watch the whole egg hunt and an hour of the kids running around playing on Skype. We just set the laptop up on the deck and he was able to watch everything. It was just like he was sitting there with all of us. I love Skype!

Look what the Easter bunny brought!

Dying Easter Eggs and Pizza Party

The kids were all really excited to dye Easter eggs. They had been waiting all week. The whole family came over and the kids were so excited Jack got to come and play. Cooper, Emma, Parker, and Jack did about 3 or 4. Carson spent another hour dying eggs and decorating them. He loved it! After eggs we had a pizza party and Egg Race.

Let's get started
Fun times
Carson dying eggs by himself- he just loved it and thought it was so cool!
Our finished eggs- beautiful
Our Pizza Delivery Men- Uncle Ryan & Grandpa
Time to Eat
Of course Uncle Ryan chose to sit with the kids.
All ready for the egg race
We told the kids they could crack the egg on their head and it wouldn't break. "1,2,3- break the egg on your head". Uncle Ryan slammed his egg on his head and CRACK! Little did he know, Cooper and I had a special, uncooked egg just for him. He was shocked! The kids all died laughing. It was hilarious!!
Our Little Band- I'm sure the neighborhood loved us. They were so loud!!

Our Easter Portraits

So many of these turned out so great!! I love them!!

Easter Carnival

Because Saturday was our last day in Portland and it was gorgeous, we decided to celebrate Easter early. We got up and ready then headed to the Grace Point Church down the street from my parents. The Church had an amazing carnival. The kids played games, jumped in bounce houses, had lunch and of course, easter egg hunts. They got so much candy and tickets to turn in for prizes. They loved the ticket idea and had a lot of fun picking what they wanted with the tickets. It was so much fun and really nice because it wasn't too crowded like some other Easter egg hunts in the area.

A little too sunny, but still a cute picture of all 4 of them.
Having fun doing the cupcake walk
Parker's Egg Hunt and Eggs- he got the most!
