Our second stop was here at this amazing castle. The kids really thought that was so cool!

Sterling Winery- Napa Valley

 Our first stop in Napa Valley was the Sterling Winery. It was known as the most "kid-friendly". The kids had so much fun on the tram ride up the hill, the tour and getting their special juice at the end. The view was amazing- absolutely beautiful! I can't believe we have lived around here for 6 years and just now made it out to Napa. I'm so happy my Mom visited us this weekend so we could all go out for a wonderful day of exploring.

Friday Flashback- San Francisco Trips

We have been stationed at Beale AFB for the past 6 years. In that time we have gone to San Francisco 12 times. We just love San Francisco and will really miss our fun adventures out there.

It's Really Happening

In only two days everything going to Japan with us has been packed and loaded. It is being put into crates today. Then it is being put on a huge ship and headed across the giant Pacific Ocean. Our house is now 85% empty. This is the first time Josh and I have looked at each other and said, "This is really happening, really, really happening." Before it was all paperwork and talk. Now that our house is packed, going away parties are planned and final out-processing appointments are made, this is really happening.

4 weeks from tomorrow the 6 of us will be getting on a plane and headed to Okinawa to start our amazing 3 year advenutre

Our Weekend Visitor

My best friend Erin flew in this weekend to visit us before our big move. It was so much fun!! We have been friends since middle school. The kids all loved having her here. They would not leave her alone. It was great catching up and reminiscing about the old days. It was a great weekend and so nice before the chaos of moving starts tomorrow.

Josh got home Friday morning. The boys stayed home from school so we could all go to the airport and surprise him! We are all so happy he is home!
