Oregon Coast 2013- Yaquina Head Lighthouse

The Yaquina Head Lighthouse is so cool. I love lighthouses and this one is so well kept. It is beautiful!

Before walking around the lighthouse, we first explored the tidepools. We found lots of mussels, starfish, and a few crabs. On the rocks were so many seals sleeping and relaxing. It was so cool!

Oregon Coast 2013- We Found our Cows!

While driving through Tillamook we all decided we needed to get close to some cows. There are dairies all over the area and huge fields full of cows. Getting close to them is the hard part. We stopped at the Blue Heron cheese company to check out their little farm. The kids got to feed goats and a donkey. After they ran out of food we walked around the side of a barn, and guess what we found, COWS! They were wild crazy cows so we couldn't get too close. But the kids were all so happy we saw cows!

Oregon Coast 2013- Sunset in Oceanside, OR

After an amazing weekend on the Oregon coast, we had one last stop before making our way home. We stopped in Oceanside to eat at one of the very best restaurants on the coast, Roseanna's. The food is amazing and the desserts are the best I have ever had. We got lucky and were able to catch the sun just before it dipped into the ocean. I just love how these photos turned out!

We got down to the beach just before the sun set and the tide came back in. The boys enjoyed looking around the rocks for any sea life they could find. The light was so pretty!
