Halloween 2012

Happy Halloween! After a day filled with rain showers, I was very nervous about trick-or-treating. With Josh gone, I didn't really feel like trick-or-treating in the pouring rain. However, we lucked out and it just sprinkled off and on. Nothing we couldn't handle. I was even luckier when the rain stopped all together for 5 minutes and it was safe to get my camera out before we started filling our bags with treats.

After trick-or-treating for an hour and 15 minutes, the kids had so much candy they could hardly carry their bags. I would say they both got about 10lbs of candy. Candy, candy, and more candy.

Fall Fun in the Field

After school on Friday we headed out to Gala fields and beach for our fall photoshoot with the girls. The kids looked forward to it all week and Diana and I were excited to get some fall pictures. We don't have fall leaves or pumpkin patches. However, this year after the huge typhoon last month many leaves and grasses have died. It has given us a nice "fall" feeling. Of course we were all hot and sweaty during our 2 hours of fun.

October Photo Walk

Now that the weather is cooling off we can go on walks in the evening again. This time we went for a walk on the street by our house. The kids love to get out and walk and I get to practice my photography skills.. its a win win situation. Of course, we can't all be happy Mommy's camera comes along. But I will take 3/4 happy participants any day.

Anyone that knows our family knows that we are big SF Giants fans. We are very excited they are in the World Series. The boys have been asking to stay home from school to watch the games because they are on in the morning for us. They are very bummed Daddy isn't here to cheer along with them. Let's Go Giants!!
