Happy New Year!

Carson's Birthday Party

Carson's birthday was yesterday. It was also New Year's Eve. He woke up early and played the Wii until everyone was dressed and ready to go to breakfast. Carson picked Climax Coffee for muffins and then Starbucks for a special birthday coffee. We came home and he got to open his presents. He loved them all. Later in the day we went to the BX and he got to pick out a present. We came home and he played his new Wii game. Our good friends the McMillan's came over for dinner and dessert. The kids all played and had fun while us grown ups played games. Carson had a wonderful birthday and we all had an awesome New Year's Eve.

Happy 9th Birthday Carson!

I can't believe I am saying this, but my oldest Carson turns 9 today. How can that be? It's unbelievable. He is growing up so fast. He is funny and so smart. He can be strong-willed at times but is always willing to help out. I love that he still holds my hand when we are out walking around. I am so proud of him and how hard he works in school. I am so lucky to have him as my son. Happy 9th Birthday Carson! I love you so much!

A Perfect Day in December

On Saturday it was so beautiful here. All blue sky and warm. We took the scooters down to the seawall. The ocean looked amazing. We couldn't ask for any better weather in December. We really do live in paradise.

It's Scooter Time

A few days after Christmas we took the kids down to the park so they could try out their new scooters Santa brought. They were a little nervous but excited. Carson caught on right away as did Parker. Parker just loved it. He didn't want to take a break of even stop. Cooper was a little unsure of the whole thing. Emma just wanted to go faster and was upset she couldn't keep up with Carson. Of course, Josh zoomed around the park like a wild man.
