A Field of 100,000's Cosmos

Flower season has begun here in Okinawa. Yesterday I read about a field of 100,000's Cosmos in bloom. I knew we would be going there today, even if it was a brief stop while running errands. It was so pretty. I really hope to back again this week and take some more photos. I just loved the ones I got of my Princess Emma.

A Perfect Day in December

On Saturday it was so beautiful here. All blue sky and warm. We took the scooters down to the seawall. The ocean looked amazing. We couldn't ask for any better weather in December. We really do live in paradise.

Early Christmas Present- A New Tripod

Josh gave me an early Christmas present, a new tripod. I was so excited! It was just what I needed to take these pictures at nighttime. The kids were all being super silly and goofy. Trying to get them to hold still was nearly impossible. But I think these turned out so cute with their smiles!

Christmas Photo Shoot Attempt at White Beach

Finally I got around to attempting our 1st Christmas photo shoot. I have really fallen behind this year. I really liked how a few of these turned out. We had a great afternoon at White Beach walking around, looking for shells, and laughing around like dorks. Merry Christmas!

Yes, Josh and I can be the biggest dorks, hehehehe, Merry Christmas!

Grandma's 1st Visit- Day Four

Our last full day with Grandma and the sun was partially out. We went to the Seaside Cafe for breakfast and it was very yummy. Then we went to Toguchi Beach to walk around. Toguchi is one of the prettiest places on the island to walk around and explore, especially early in the morning or at sunset. We found lots of the creepy spidery starfish. The boys were very happy about that!

We spent the day hanging out and talking. Josh finally was feeling better and was able to join us. We took Grandma to CoCo's for dinner. No trip is complete without eating at CoCo's. We ate dinner then went down to Sunset Beach for the sunset and to play in the sand. After that we walked around American Village and looked at all the Christmas lights.

We had such a wonderful time with my Mom. It went by way too fast. The next day we woke up at 5am to watch the Civil War game. We had breakfast and then took Grandma to the airport. We are so grateful she was able to make the trip all the way to Okinawa to spend a few days with us. We can't wait for her next trip here with Grandpa!

Mommy & Parker Time- Manzamo Point

This week Parker and I went with Diana to explore Manzamo Point. This is also known as "The Elephant's Trunk". There were a ton of Japanese tourists there. They went crazy over Parker. They kept taking his picture and asking for pictures with him. It was pretty funny.
