Disneyland Day 2

Day 40 of 365

Today we started our Disneyland vacation. We left the house at 6:30am. It rained and rained, and rained the whole drive. I mean, it poured. We got to our hotel around 2:00pm. We unpacked and debated about going to the park in the rain. Despite the rain, we decided to go. It rained and we were soaked. We went on the Buzz Lightyear ride, Star Tours, and Pirates of the Caribbean. By then, we were so wet and cold, so we went back to the hotel. We had Red Robin for dinner. The kids watched "Princess and the Frog". Cooper was so excited to watch the movie. He hadn't seen it yet and he has been in love with Princess Tiana. Even though it was a very rainy day, we had a great day.

Disneyland Day 1

Day 39 of 365

Today Carson went to school. I spent the day doing laundry and packing. Oh my, the amount of clothes needed for 6 people, for 6 days. Josh and Emma picked up Aunt Chelsea from the airport. Everyone is very excited for tomorrow!!

Day 38 of 365

Today was a super day. Josh powerwashed the drive way and sidewalks. They look so much better. I ran some errands. At CVS I got 4 bottles of Pantene, 1 Secret deodorant, 1 Clean&Clear face wash, and 2 bags of candy all for $5.49!! We watched the Superbowl. The kids watched from time to time. We talked about Disneyland and the one character they wanted a picture with. Carson wants a picture with Donald Duck, Cooper wants a picture with Princess Tiana (from Princess and the Frog, and Emma wants a picture with Cinderella.

Day 37 of 365

Today the boys were up sometime before 6:00 am playing the Wii. They know how to turn it on all by themselves. We had our usual weekend breakfast and coffee. Emma helped me catch up on some laundry. After Parker's nap I took the kids to the Disney Store. They each got to pick out a new shirt for Disneyland. Everyone took baths and went to bed pretty easily.

Day 36 of 365

Today Josh presented 3 awards at a Promotion Ceremony. Carson had a fun day at school. Cooper had fun playing with his Transformers. Emma only talks about Disneyland. Parker loved coloring today. When we went to get pizza for pizza night, the boys were talking about the clouds. They were talking about how beautiful they. Carson kept saying, "oh my, look at that one, its just so beautiful!". What a cutie!

Day 35 of 365

Today I started to get the boys' cold. We read books, watched Transformers 2 (which we haven't watched in a month!), and played the Wii, of course. We made breadsticks again. Carson practiced writing all the names of the kids in his class. Josh made it home from work slightly earlier then usual, 9pm. Only a few more days until Disneyland!

Day 34 of 365

Today was a long day. I had the worst headache all day. It just won't go away. Parker decided today he was brave enough to jump off the ottoman. The boys and I were in shock when we first watched him jump. He is a little daredevil! I helped Carson get his homework all done. Its due on Thursdays and of course we waited until tonight to do it. He is really good at math! We also practiced reading. He is learning a lot of words and how to sound out ones he doesn't know.

Day 33 of 365

Today was a normal day. After school we just hung out and played. We made breadsticks for dinner, always a favorite. Emma and I cuddled and watched a cake show together.

Day 32 of 365

Today was a long day. Mondays are always difficult around here. Josh has swings this week, so nights are rather long and trying. I managed to get my chicken cooked and cut up. Josh bought 3 packages of chicken breast at $1.77 lb. For $16 we have 8 meals of shredded chicken and 8 meals of cut up chicken. $1 a meal isn't bad! Carson got his feelings hurt at school, the other Carson isn't very nice. Cooper is now in a booster seat, which he is very excited about. Emma can't wait to see Cinderella next week. Parker is still our little snacker.
