Waterlillies at Ocean Expo Park

I was so excited the waterlilies were in bloom at Ocean Expo Park. There were so many different colored flowers. I could have stayed there all day trying to get the perfect shot.

Friday Adventuring- Our 1st Stop, Ocean Expo Park

On Friday it was sunny, the kids didn't have school and they were full of energy. We headed up North to do some exploring. We went to Ocean Expo Park first with a goal to make it to the 11am dolphin show. We walked around, watched the free dolphin show, and found a little beach to play on. It was such a wonderful day of fun with kids that did not argue and were very cooperative with my camera following them around. It would have been a perfect day if Daddy had been home to join us.

Friday Adventuring- Our 2nd Stop, Beach Time

Ocean Expo Park is huge and sits right on the ocean. After watching the dolphins we went for a walk to find a beach to explore. It only took a 5 minute walk down a wooden walkway to find a path down to the ocean. We had our own little secluded beach to play on.

Friday Adventuring- Our Final Stop, Sunset on the Beach

After a very yummy lunch at Captain Kangaroos, we walked to the beach for a little more fun. I was so excited when we found the log washed up on shore. These photos might be my most favorite ever of my little ones. I am so blessed to have 4 wild, crazy, loving and funny kids. They are always surprising me. I love them so much.

Fukugi Tree Road in Bise, Okinawa

These are 2 of my favorite photos taken while walking along the beautiful dirt paths lined with Fukugi trees. Such a cool place to explore.

Friday Adventuring- Our 3rd Stop, Bise Fukugi Tree Road

I have wanted to go explore the Fukugi Tree Road in Bise since we arrived on the island. I am so happy I finally made it a point to go check it out. It was so cool. Lots of narrow little dirt paths that weaved all through the tiny little village. The trees were beautiful and the light coming through was amazing. We will however make sure we bring bug spray next time. The mosquitos were out like crazy.
