Cooper's 3rd Game

Cooper's game was second at 11:30. Today for the first time he got to be the catcher and the pitcher, although they don't actually pitch. He looked so cute in all the catcher gear!

Carson's 3rd Game

Despite his allergies acting up, Carson was pumped for his game. His game was first at 9:30. They played for almost 2 hours. He had a great time and the weather was wonderful.

Family Journal: Week 14: Apr.2nd-Apr.8th

Saturday, April 2nd: Today both boys finally had their first baseball games. Everyone is so happy the rain has stopped so they can play. Cooper's game was first at 8:30. It was so funny watching. Cooper had so much fun, he loved it! We rushed home after Cooper's game. Josh had to go to work. Cooper changed really fast and Carson got dressed for his game. We made it to Carson's game at 10:30 for warm-ups. The game started at 11 and lasted 2 hours. Carson did a great job. He hit 2/3 at bats. He looked so grown up out there on the field. So cute! It was 1:00 by the time we were done. The kids were starving and done with baseball. We spent the afternoon relaxing and hanging out.

Sunday, April 3rd: Today Josh worked all day in the backyard cleaning it up. It was really overgrown. Now it is beautiful and perfect for the kids to play outside now that the weather is nicer. I went grocery shopping and we had BBQ chicken for dinner. It is so nice to be outside with the warm sunshine and no more rain!

Monday, April 4th: Today Parker had speech and had a lot of fun. Today was Carson's big dentist appointment. He had a molar pulled and a cavity filled. He was such a trooper!!! So proud of him. Hopefully now he understands better the importance of brushing. Carson was supposed to have practice, but he stayed home of course. Josh took Cooper to his baseball game. They had a great time together.

Tuesday, April 5th: Today I had AJ. He crawls everywhere, pulls himself up on everything and puts anything in his mouth. Parker and Emma are really loving this stage with AJ. He crawls after them and all 3 play so well together! Today was Cooper's dentist appointment. He struggled a little bit more. He inherited my intense gag reflex, sorry buddy. Carson had his baseball game. Josh took him. This was the first game Josh has been able to watch. They had fun together, especially since they took Daddy's car.

Wednesday, April 6th: Today was windy, but not rainy. Cooper had practice tonight. Carson chose to stay home with Josh while the other kids wanted to go to practice. It was windy and cold! Cooper was freezing but he had fun!

Thursday, April 7th: Today Parker had speech. Both boys had great days at school. They were both so excited for their Open House at school tonight. We all went at 6:00. First we went to Cooper's class. He was so proud of all his projects. He showed us all around his room. He loved it! Then we went to Carson's class. He showed us all his charts, told us about class rules and then showed us the music and science class. Both boys were so proud of all their hard work, and so were Josh and I. They are doing great in school!

Friday, April 8th: Today the kids were excited for 5:00 to come. Nicole offered to watch the kids so Josh and I could go out to dinner. Josh and I only go out, just the two of us, maybe 3-4 times a year. The kids had so much fun with Nicole, Cam and Tanner! I think they were bummed when we got home. Josh and I had a nice dinner. It was great being able to talk about everything without interruptions. I wish we could make this a monthly thing instead of a 3-4 month thing.

Carson's 1st Game

Carson's first game was today, just 2 weeks late. At least it isn't raining anymore! Carson's game was at 11:00 but he had to be there at 10:30 to warm-up. They played the Iron Pigs. He was so excited and ready to play!

Cooper's 1st Game

After 2 weeks of rained out games, Cooper finally had his first game this morning against the Red Sox's. He had the early game- 8:30. Cooper was so excited to finally wear his whole uniform. He looked so cute!

My little Cooper- you are getting way too big.

Go Cooper!

Cooper loves being a Dodger. It's pretty funny because we are a Giants family. Now he thinks it is awesome to root against all of us.

Family Journal: Week 13: Mar.26th-Apr.2nd

Saturday, March 26th: Today the rain didn't stop, so no baseball once again. The kids at this point are sick of being stuck in the house. It has rained and rained, no fun! We spent the day hanging out, trying to come up with something different and exciting to do. No such luck.

Sunday, March 27th: Today the rain has finally let up. However, everything is soaked and flooded. It will take a while for everything to clear up! Josh had to work for a few hours, bummer, especially since the plane never ended up taking off. The kids built Legos and painted.

Monday, March 28th: Today Parker had speech. He had a great session. This week the clinic was honoring the Armed Forces. They made Parker a treat bag with lots of goodies. They also got Josh and I four yummy cupcakes. It was so sweet of them. Josh took the day off, with hopes that tonight Carson would have his first baseball game. Unfortunately, the fields are just too wet. No baseball.

Tuesday, March 29th: Today it was sunny. So nice! Cooper was supposed to have baseball practice but the fields are still too wet. We played outside for awhile when Carson got home. The kids were so happy to be outside!

Wednesday, March 30th: Today was Josh and my 9th wedding anniversary! Crazy, isn't it? I can't believe it has already been 9 years. Josh had to work most the day, but he got me some beautiful pink roses. We were able to have a late dinner and watched a movie together. The kids were so sweet, they were bummed we couldn't go on a date, so cute!

Thursday, March 31st: Today Parker had speech early. Emma had special time with Daddy. Tonight the boys finally had baseball, both of them, and of course Josh was at work. Cooper had practice at 5 at Fosket Ranch while Carson had a practice game at 5:30 at Carlin C. Coppin. Luckily, our neighbor Daniel was able to take Carson to his practice game. The kids and I went to Cooper's practice for an hour then we all went to the end of Carson's practice game. All 4 kids were so muddy because nothing has dried out completely yet. We got home at bedtime and everyone still had to take quick showers. It was a long evening, but both boys were so happy to have baseball practice.

Friday, April 1st: Today Josh had M-16 training all day. It started early so he was able to get home earlier than normal. The boys had great days at school. They are really working hard and are so happy to have recess again now that the rain has stopped. We had our usual pizza of course. Tomorrows the big day- finally, baseball games!
