1st Visit to Okuma Beach Resort
After hiking to the waterfall we were all hungry and ready for lunch. Luckily, the Okuma Beach Resort is just 5 minutes from Hiji Falls. Okuma Beach Resort is a military resort. It is so beautiful with a great beach, tons of activities, and many places to stay over night or even camp. We have wanted to come up here for awhile and today was the perfect opportunity to check it out. We ate a yummy lunch then hit the beach.
The kids really want to go back and stay over night. We will have to do that this summer for sure!

What fun! I love the pics! I wish my 4 were that little again, I miss all of them wanting to be in the same place at the same time! :) Love the beach!
ReplyDeleteLooking at the beaming smiles of your cute children, it seems that your family had a wonderful time at the beach. I’m sure this kind of family bonding is an activity that your children will cherish as they age. This reminded me of my childhood years. My family and I used to go to the beach for swimming, fishing, and boating. And my favorite part was watching the beautiful sunset. Oh, I really miss those times.

Did your kids eat a lot before going there? Their energy level was so high; I can see it on these photos! Haha! Good thing it was just near where you were back then… Did you come back after that day? I bet the kids asked you to!
