An Amazing Birthday Weekend

30 years old- yikes!

I had a wonderful birthday weekend.

Friday- after school we played at the park then went to the beach
Saturday- Josh took the kids out for a few hours and I had the house all to myself
Sunday- we went to the Pineapple Park and to the beautiful Tropical Dream Center gardens
Monday- Josh got up early and got Starbucks, then made a huge breakfast, we opened presents, had a great dinner at the Macaroni Grill, then birthday cake at home

I feel so blessed to have such an amazing family!

Thank you Joshua for making my 30th birthday so wonderful!

30 Years of Me

Nago Pineapple Park

Today's first stop was the Nago Pineapple Park. It is a total tourist place, but it was fun. We rode on golf carts through the pineapple fields. It was like entering Jurassic Park. The kids loved the ride. After that Josh and I sampled all types of Pineapple Wines and picked a few to bring home. We all sampled all types of pineapple cakes, cookies and juice. Finally they had tables set up with all you can eat pineapple. Carson and Cooper each had one piece. Parker and Emma had more than 10 and would have kept eating more!

Tropical Dream Center

Our 2nd stop today was the Tropical Dream Center. Going to look at flowers is a typically "for Mom" thing to do. This garden is famous for their Orchids. They have over 2,000 varieties. There were all kinds of beautiful flowers and cool plants. And of course, there were fish to feed. Emma wanted her picture taken at every flower. I dressed the kids so cute today. Unfortunately no one was really in the mood for group shots. Still, it was a great way to spend my last day in my 20's. Thank you kids and Josh for going to the gardens.

Friday Afternoon at the Beach

We had been promising the boys a trip to the beach all week. It poured for 2 straight days, I mean poured. When it rains here, it really rains. The weather finally was better later this week. We decided on a beach trip after school Friday. No better way to start a long weekend. After school we headed to the beach, which takes about 5 minutes to get to from school. We had the beach to ourselves! Daddy was able to get off work early and join us.

Daddy's Shirts

Emma, Parker and I were very bored this morning. Not too mention they know we are going to the beach after school, so that is all they can think about. So we decided to play dress up in Daddy's shirts and jump on the bed.
