Cooper has had a loose tooth for a few weeks. This week it became super wiggly. He has played and played with that tooth. Yet, it still will not come out. He is very excited to loose his first tooth, maybe next week!

Happy 10th Air Force Anniversary Handsome!
Unbelievable how fast the last 10 years have gone by. I am so proud of Josh's service. He has excelled in the Air Force and won so many awards. Josh is very good at his job, a job that most people would never be able to do. He has accomplished so much in the last 10 years.
Josh is such a hard worker. I am so proud of the example he is setting for our kids. Josh works hard to make time for all the kids and me. Josh is an amazing husband and we have never been happier. We are so proud to say we are an Air Force family!
THE LAST 10 YEARS . . .
- Basic Training in Texas
- Tech School in Mississippi
- We got married
- Stationed at Little Rock AFB for 3 years, had Carson and Cooper
- Stationed at Beale AFB for 6 years, had Emma and Parker
- 2 deployments to Iraq, one TDY to Bahrain
- Moved across the Pacific to Okinawa
Congratulations Handsome!!! I wish you were home to celebrate!!!

3 Months
As of today we have lived in Okinawa, Japan for 3 months. What an amazing 3 months it has been. Josh has been gone twice, boo. The boys have started school. We have explored many different places on the island and enjoyed the amazing beaches.
I love all the unique and different vegatables and fruits. I hate the price of normal, ordinary fruits and vegatables, $4-6 a lb for apples, $10 for a 2lb bag white, regular potatoes, $5 lb for red/green peppers.
I love listening to people speak Japanese, they talk so fast it is amazing. I hate how difficult Japanese is to learn. It just might be hardest language ever to learn.
I love all the tropical plants and flowers. I hate the heat and humidity that make the jungle areas thrive.
I love all the opportunities we have to learn about another culture. This truly is a once in a lifetime chance to live in a foreign country. I hate being so far away from family and friends.
The next 3 months should be very exciting and busy- big birthday, holidays, school, and hopefully cooler weather!

What to do when it is Hot, Humid, and Stormy?
Why, play Pirate Legos, sharks and Barbies in the never used bath tub. After school today both boys rushed to do their homework. They have been asking for awhile to put their Lego boats in the bath. Today was very hot and very stormy, lots of wind and torrential downpours, so no walk or outdoor activities. They played in there for an hour, ate dinner, and are now back in there playing. At this point I think they will be playing in there until bedtime. All 4 are having so much fun but it is so loud. That room just echos with little voices singing "Yo Ho Yo Ho" and "Da Dun, Da Dun, Da Dun".
Cooper's Mail Surprise
Cooper was so excited today after he got in the car and found a big box addressed to him. Cooper's teacher from last year, Mrs. Cuthbertson, sent him a big box of Halloween goodies. It was so incredibly sweet of her. She really was the greatest teacher and I'm so happy both boys had her while we lived in California.

Completed this Weekend
Here are the rest of the pages I finished this weekend. Josh is gone again. The boys were tired after a week of school. The kids were happy to play Lego's and Barbies most the weekend. No rush to go anywhere or do much else. All the pictures are from March 2010 including our Spring Break trip up to Portland.

Only 30 days . . . .
left in my 20's. So sad. I'm not looking forward to turn 30, especially since I won't be able to see family and friends. At least Josh will be home by then and the kids don't have school.
30 . . . . that sounds so old.
I will be cherishing my last days in my 20's and hoping they last just a little bit longer.

"Back to the Desert"- MME Blog Challenge
Here is the last page I created today. This page was made for the monthly challenge at My Mind's Eye blog. It was a sketch challenge as well as a "Back to ____" title challenge. I just love this picture of Josh and the kids taken the night before he went to Bahrain. March 2010
"My Foursome"- Basic Grey Sketch Challenge
I finished this page today for a sketch challenge on the Basic Grey blog. I love getting pictures of my foursome. It is not always easy and there are always plenty of outtakes. March 2010
"Worms"- October Afternoon Sketch Challenge
Today I finished this page for a sketch challenge on the October Afternoon blog. Carson and Cooper just love hunting for worms. Worm hunting is always a must at Grandma & Grandpa's house! Spring Break 2010.
Daddy's Conversation with his Baby Girl
Josh always takes time to talk to each of the kids separately before he leaves. Emma's talk was so cute and funny tonight. I'm so happy I was able to sneak a few pictures.
Daddy: Emma, are you going to be a good girl while I'm gone and listen to Mommy?
Emma: Of course. Are you going the next day?
Daddy: I'm going tomorrow.
Emma: So next day?
Daddy: Yes. Are you going to miss me?
Emma: Yeeesssss. Does Santa really exist?
Daddy: Yes, of course, why would you ask that?
Emma: Well he lives in the snow right? Why? Does he come here?
Daddy: Yes, Santa comes here.
Emma: Does he have helpers? He can't do it all himself. How does he get here?
Daddy: Don't worry Emma, Santa will come. Ok, time for bed, I love you. Give me a kiss.
Emma: You have to kiss my bear. I love my pink bear.
Daddy: Do you know who got you the bear?
Emma: No, you?
Daddy: Yes. I got that bear at the hospital on the day you were born. You were still in Mommy's tummy when I bought it for you. So really, that bear is older than you. I was so excited to have a baby girl!
Emma: I love you Dad.
Daddy: Emma, I love you so much.

Our Little "Helpers"
The kids all decided they wanted to "help" Daddy pack. He was very happy to actually have time to pack compared to the 10 minute grab last time. I think the kids loved looking through Daddy's candy stash! We are sure going to miss Daddy again. It seemed like he was hardly home from his last trip and now he is off again.
