Spring Break Day #1- Zakimi Castle

Today was our first Spring Break adventure. We met the girls (Diana, Hannah, and Addie) at the Zakimi Castle. We walked all around the castle, which is just the remains of the castle walls. This is a World Heritage Site, one of nine on the island of Okinawa. It was a really cool to walk around. The kids loved running around the castle and there was a great view from the top. We ate our picnic inside the castle walls.

After the castle we drove to Maeda Point and played at the beach at Maeda Flats.
